Today, The Shins shared the second single from their upcoming album Heartworms, entitled "Name For You." The Albuquerque indie rock band have been teasing a new album since last 2015, and last fall, they also released its first single, "Dead Alive."

"Name For You" sounds like quintessential The Shins, coy lyrics and all, with slightly pop-y twist. But the interesting thing about this song is the timing of its release—just two days after the 2017 lineup for Coachella dropped. The bill does not include the Shins, as noted by Stereogum's Tom Breihan, even after frontman James Mercer said last year that the band would wait to release Heartworms, which was basically done, in order to get a better chance at playing the festival.

Maybe next year, guys. In the meantime, at least you can put that album out now. Listen to "Name For You" above. Heartworms is out 3/10 via Columbia.
