DJ Happy Colors in Monterrey, Mexico.

The Dominican born and Miami-raised music producer and DJ Happy Colors has been picking up steam in the worlds of electronic and dance music, gaining the attention and support of such genre heavyweights as Diplo, Skrillex and Dillon Francis. The producer is known to pull from influences that range from moombahton, merengue, cumbia & bachata, to trap and hip-hop, blending his Dominican culture with contemporary American sounds. In our latest video, we follow Happy Colors, born Hector Mendoza, around Monterrey, Mexico as he performs to a packed crowd and premieres his latest single, "Mamagüevo."  The track has Happy's signature neck-snapping quality, with bouncy, jubilant percussion that gives you no choice but to dance. If you're not a Spanish-speaker, just know that you probably don't want to shout the word "Mamagüevo" in public.
